Data Deletion Instructions
How to disconnect a social channel and request deletion of authorization or customer data from YundaDesk.
Last updated:July 15, 2026
For workspace administrators
- Sign in to YundaDesk and open Channels.
- Select the Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp channel.
- Choose Disconnect and enter the channel name to confirm.
- YundaDesk immediately stops channel traffic, requests provider unsubscription, and removes the managed credential. Existing conversation history is retained unless a separate deletion request covers it.
Delete conversation or customer data
A workspace administrator may submit the product’s customer deletion workflow for a specific customer. End customers may also contact the business they communicated with, because that business controls its workspace data. If that is not possible, email support@yundadesk.com with the workspace name, channel, account identifier, and enough information to verify the request. Do not send passwords or access tokens.
Meta authorization deletion
When Meta sends YundaDesk a valid signed deauthorization or data-deletion request, YundaDesk verifies the signature, disables matching managed Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp Embedded Signup connections, removes stored access tokens and related OAuth sessions, and returns a confirmation code with a status URL. Repeated signed requests are handled idempotently.
Timing and exceptions
Channel traffic stops immediately after a valid disconnect request. Provider unsubscription and credential cleanup normally complete asynchronously. Broader deletion requests are handled within the period required by applicable law, subject to identity verification, security records, backups, fraud prevention, and other lawful retention duties.
